At the historic Melserhof, 50 condominiums and rental apartments have been created, as well as a comprehensive gastronomy area with a restaurant and hall operations.

The concept of the development is aimed exclusively at couples and single individuals aged 50 and over or persons with a disability. The entire complex is wheelchair accessible.

The residents can feel completely at home, but at the same time enjoy amenities like in a hotel, through internal or external services. The entire complex is wheelchair accessible.

A private underground parking space can be rented for CHF 150.00/Mt. Sufficient visitor parking spaces are available.

Total development
The building currently under construction consists of the following:

• 5-story new building on Hofstrasse, in which the apartments are primarily located
• the existing, very popular Restaurant Melserhof with its beautiful garden area
• single-story intermediate building (hall), which can be used by the restaurant and the residents

A centrally located common room on the ground floor is available to the residents. The common room features a lounge area with a fireplace and two fully equipped kitchens. Adjacent to the common room is a covered terrace and a south-facing lawn.

Public transport (a bus stop and the Mels train station) is accessible at any time adjacent to the development.

Construction description
The 2.5-room apartments impress with a bright and spacious living area, contemporary kitchen appliances, and state-of-the-art building technology.

A photovoltaic system with a capacity of approx. 90 kilowatts on the flat roof will be fed into the apartments to allow for inexpensive use for self-consumption within the internal grid.

Two wheelchair-accessible passenger lifts (one large and one small lift) are available in the stairwell.

By means of a video surveillance system in the public areas such as the stairwell and corridors, the underground garage, or the entrance area, the common areas can be monitored at any time, thus providing the residents with a certain sense of security.

Heat generation for heating and hot water requirements is carried out by means of a water-water heat pump. In summer, the living rooms can be cooled via the underfloor heating using the reverse effect of the heat pump. Heat distribution is carried out via underfloor heating. Electric room thermostats can be found in the rooms and living areas to regulate the underfloor heating and the cooling system.

Each apartment is equipped with a built-in safe.
