Available immediately, we are renting a single-family house built in 1936 with an extension from 1985 and a large garden in Ostermundigen on a limited basis. The house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac.
The 150 m² living area is distributed over three floors. On the ground floor are the open living and kitchen area with a fireplace, a second living room and access to the conservatory, as well as the bathroom with bathtub and shower. A spiral staircase leads to the attic floor with an open gallery and a sleeping area. An additional room is available in the lower floor.
Outside there is a seating area in front of the conservatory, a lawn area and a hedge; garden maintenance is the responsibility of the tenant. At the house entrance, there is a carport for two vehicles.
The house has a full basement. In the lower floor, in addition to the room, there is the laundry room, a converted cellar room and a small natural cellar.
The walls on the ground floor have been freshly painted, the staircase has received a new railing and the garden has been pruned back. Furthermore, the house is rented in its current condition. Since the property will be redeveloped later, the tenancy is limited: at least 2 years, the exact duration by arrangement.
Bus and Ostermundigen station are reachable on foot, with the S-Bahn you are at Bern station in about 5 minutes, by car in around 10 minutes. Shopping facilities in the center as well as the Ostermundigenberg and the Schosshaldenwald are within walking distance, the Bern-Wankdorf motorway exit is reached in a few minutes.
All ancillary costs (heating, electricity, water/wastewater, refuse, etc.) are settled directly by the tenant with the respective utilities or suppliers.
