Room in a shared flat

We are offering a room in a quiet 3-person shared apartment for a fixed-term lease, with the possibility of an extension.

We are looking for a female flatmate between 30 and 44 years old who is uncomplicated, tidy and, above all, peace-loving.

Our WG

Our WG is particularly suitable for someone who enjoys living quietly and appreciates the view of greenery. It is explicitly not a party WG.

One flatmate regularly works from home, which is why appropriate consideration should be given to a quiet atmosphere during the day.

Fundamentally, it is rather relaxed with us and everyone is mostly in their own room or out and about. Unfortunately, there is no living room. The apartment consists of 3 rooms, a kitchen and a small bathroom with a bathtub.

If you get along well, something spontaneous can naturally happen from time to time – for example, going out together or an excursion to the lake. 😊

Animals also live in the neighborhood. Therefore, you should fundamentally have no problems with animals.

A pet may be possible after consultation.

Families as well as other very nice and rather quiet-seeking neighbors live in the house. A respectful and considerate interaction with one another is therefore important to us.

A laundry room is located in the basement. Use is via a laundry schedule, in which you sign up.

Important regarding occupancy

The room is intended for one person. This is a requirement of the administration and a prerequisite for the rental agreement to be approved.

Therefore, regular or even occasional partner overnight stays are unfortunately not permitted. We ask for your understanding here, as we must adhere to the requirements of the administrator.

Location

The apartment is very centrally located and at the same time pleasantly quiet.

• With tram lines 7 and 9, you can reach Zürich Central or Bellevue in approx. 15 minutes

Oerlikon is reachable with bus 75 in approx. 8 minutes.
The Tierspital can be reached in approx. 5 minutes.
Zurich Airport is reachable by car in approx. 15 minutes. By tram between 16-24 minutes.

For walks, the nearby forest is ideal. The path along the forest towards Schwamendingen is also particularly beautiful.

Requirements

Since we have unfortunately had bad experiences in the past with ensuring rental payments, there are some binding requirements:

Applications with details and a photo of yourself; if it fits, we will then invite you to an apartment viewing.

Debt enforcement register extract (Betreibungsregisterauszug)
Criminal record extract (Strafregisterauszug)
Mietkautionskonto at a bank, no Swisscaution.
Reference from the previous tenant / previous landlord
Permanent employment is a prerequisite

We ask for your understanding that these documents or requirements are mandatory.

Also important

The notice period is 3 months.

Since the rental agreement is tied to the main tenant, it also applies: With the move-out of the main tenant, the rental agreement ends automatically. This is a requirement of the administrator and is not in our hands.

We would like to be transparent from the beginning so that both sides can save unnecessary effort. Therefore, we ask you to only make contact if you are female, between 30 and 44 years old, and meet the mentioned requirements.
