Looking for a friendly, easy-going, and tidy flatmate to join our 4.5-room apartment on Georg-Kempf-Strasse!
The Apartment & Room

• Room: ~13m², large window. Furnished, tbd
• Layout: 3rd floor (with elevator), 4.5 rooms total.
• Shared Spaces: Spacious living room with sofas and a dining table, fully equipped kitchen (induction stove, dishwasher, microwave), 2 bathrooms (one with bath/shower), and a balcony with a nice forest view, perfect for having a coffee during a pause, or having dinner with some fresh air.
• Flatmates: Emeric (French, 30, working in IT) and Srinithi (Indian, 32, working in biology Post-doc). Emeric likes hiking and climbing, and Srinithi likes cooking and watching movies. We speak English together, we like to cook and to enjoy the sunrise from the balcony. Ideally we are looking for someone who speaks German as well.

Location & Connection

• Transport: Short walk to Bahnhof Affoltern (14 min train to Zurich HB).
• Universities: ~20 mins by bus to ETH Hönggerberg and UZH Irchel.
• Shopping: Lidl, Coop, and Migros all within a 10-minute walk.

Key Details

• Rent: CHF 715/month + ~CHF 17 Internet + electricity.
• Move-in Date: Nov 1, 2026 or Jan 1, 2027.
• Contract: You will join as a co-main tenant on the lease with Emeric. Note: The agency requires you to be employed or a PhD student to be approved.

Please note that this is not a sublease - the applicant will need to share the main tenant contract jointly with Emeric (which requires proof of income/employment for agency approval).
