Room in a shared flat

Since our roommate is moving out at the end of October, we, Rira and Andy, are looking for a new roommate.

The spacious 5-room apartment is located near the Winterthur main station (approx. 12 min walk, 4 min by bike) and is therefore super connected to public transport, ZHAW, shopping facilities, or the old town. As can be seen in the photos, our shared flat is equipped with its own living room as well as a dining room. The bathroom, toilet, and kitchen were renovated only a few years ago. On one of the two balconies, the sun can always be found during the day. The room becoming available has a size of 12m².

I (Andy, 27) - hobby IT nerd, am currently doing a part-time Master's in Computer Science at the ZHAW. Alongside that, I also work 50% at the ZHAW as a scientific assistant. I am currently still quite active in the Pfadi in my old home in Basel and therefore often busy there during the week or on weekends. Additionally, in winter, I chat in an ice hockey club or enjoy being on skis. In summer, I like to be on the road with my girlfriend and our newly converted camper and explore foreign countries :) I also like being around people and am always up for a beer and/or a chat.

I (Rira, 26) - hobby WG gardener, am a primary school teacher and also work part-time in a bar in Winti. I like to be physically active, preferably hiking, cycling, or sometimes at the gym. Otherwise, I have constantly changing interests, from creative hobbies like crocheting/knitting to playing guitar. I like being out with friends, but I also like it cozy sometimes.
I am also always up for a "Fiirabigbier" and a chat :)

We would describe both of us as humorous, uncomplicated, and cheerful. With us, there is always something to laugh about.
We are, and were not, a Zweck-WG (a flatshare for convenience only). It is important to us that we consciously spend time together again and again, and at the same time, each of us has their own daily routine and also likes to be out and about. It is a concern of ours that we collectively strive for a well-maintained apartment and that everyone contributes their part. These are values that we would like to maintain.
